VESSEL HISTORY:
The Argonne best represents what the Union of Star Systems is capable of producing.  A true interstellar design, it combines the best that each member race has to offer.

The keel, a Terran design, is made up of advanced composites, thus drastically reducing the vessel's tonnage.  The shields are a product of the A'hulia Design Labs on Xaboch, and the weapons are a result of the Lucian War Labs.

The class vessel, TSS Argonne, first slipped her berth on 14 January 2251.  As a result, the ship has seen little actual combat time.  However, they have been used in anti-piracy operations and have proved very effective.
